Kathryn is the daughter of a hard working, farming family. She spent a lot of her childhood going to the Young Farmers Club and helping out at their farm, whilst looking after her and her mum’s horses.. Further on in time, when she was old enough to work her first job she broadened her horizons and went into the Embroidery/Clothing industry. Over the years she fully understood the graft of working in the outdoors and the true feel of a premium garnent..
Naturally, Kathryn wanted Martin to wear the brands she’d seen the farmers wearing—rugged, heavy-duty workwear with farm brand logos. However, Martin, a man who found his true soul in the sound of American Country music rather than the sound of a tractor, always hesitated.
He just couldn't wear it.. If he walked around wearing this, he'd telling a story that isn't his own. He wasn't a farmer, and he didn't want to pretend to be one.
He loved the rural life, the wide-open spaces, and the honest values of the countryside, but he felt like an imposter in traditional "Agricultural-wear."

One evening, while Martin and Kathryn were on a train to London, they decided to combine the experience of clothing with the love of country, and start a completely new venture. While they were thinking of brand names, the spark finally caught.
